AI Assistance for Sales Work
The CRM has focused AI assistance inside sales workflows. It can summarize a lead, turn free text into a lead draft, and prepare an outreach draft. It does not autonomously create a lead, send an email, or update a record.
Use each result as a draft
Section titled “Use each result as a draft”- Open the record you are working on, or start a new lead.
- Choose the relevant AI action: summarize, parse lead text, or draft outreach.
- Check names, company details, recipients, claims, and the proposed next step against the CRM record and your source material.
- Edit the result before saving it to the CRM or sending it through an approved channel.
AI output is helpful context, not evidence that an interaction happened or that a recipient received anything.
What each workflow does
Section titled “What each workflow does”| Workflow | Best use | Access boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Lead summary | Condense the current lead context before a review or call. | The caller must be able to read that lead. |
| Parse lead text | Turn a pasted description into a proposed lead record. | Requires permission to create leads; review every suggested field before saving. |
| Lead outreach | Produce a short initial draft from lead context. | The caller must be able to read that lead. |
| Record-aware outreach | Draft subject and body for a lead, contact, organization, or deal workflow. | Uses the available CRM context; it can return a non-AI fallback draft if generation fails. |
The workspace configuration controls the model and email word limit. A workspace administrator with Settings → Manage can change that configuration; individual users should not treat a model setting as permission to bypass a normal approval or messaging process.
Review checklist
Section titled “Review checklist”- Remove invented facts, unsupported promises, and stale information.
- Confirm the recipient and organization before copying a draft into email or a sequence.
- Keep consent, suppression, and campaign rules in force; an AI draft does not override them.
- Make the human decision to create, change, send, or publish anything.
When generation fails
Section titled “When generation fails”The interface can show an explicit error and retry control. Retry only after checking that the record and the requested action are still correct. For record-aware outreach, the CRM can return a clearly labelled fallback draft; review it just as carefully.
If the failure persists, capture the action, record, and time for the CRM administrator. Do not replace a failed result with guessed customer facts.
