Cold Contacts and Outreach
Who this is for
Section titled “Who this is for”Users with cold_contacts and, where required, sequences permissions.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Confirm the prospect’s source, consent information, and suppression context. A contact being visible does not make them eligible for automated outreach.
- Open Cold Contacts and add or refine prospect context, including source and consent information where available.
- Review the contact’s sequence readiness and avoid enrollment when a suppression or missing requirement blocks it.
- Enroll an eligible contact into a suitable sequence only after confirming the action in the interface.
- Convert a qualified cold contact to the appropriate CRM record when the relationship moves beyond outreach.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”Enrollment creates structured outreach work under the selected sequence. It does not prove that a message was delivered, opened, or acted upon by a recipient.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Enrollment is blocked: review consent, suppression, sequence state, and permissions.
- Need to tune sender policy: follow Campaigns and sequences and involve an authorized manager.
- Need to create a lead or contact: use Leads and deals or Contacts and organizations.
